Presentation Copy, Inscribed by the Author on the second free endpaper. Also with a two-page autograph letter, signed by Cecil Harmsworth, dated 18 October 1930 on Hyde Park Gardens headed paper, enclosing the book to ‘My dear old Murray’ loosely inserted.

Includes two chapters on fishing in Newfoundland, odd fragments of angling verse, bits on ospreys, mountain lochs, famous anglers, may-fly time and more.

Cecil Harmsworth (1869-1948) was a director of Amalgamated Press and chairman of Associated Newspapers, founded by his brother Lord Northcliffe.
