To mark the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising, Poetry Ireland invited four contemporary poets & four artists to present their own responses to the Rising and its aftermath. The poetry is by Harry Clifton, Vona Groarke, Paula Meehan & Paul Muldoon; the limited edition prints by Michael Canning, Alice Maher, Brian O ‘Doherty & Kathy Prendergast. Each signs at their respective contribution. Also included are poems by Pádraig Pearse, Eva Gore-Booth, Lady Wilde, Francis Ledwidge, James Clarence Mangan and W.B. Yeats.
