Ireland’s Wild Orchids began as a set of thirty-five watercolour paintings recording Ireland’s orchid flora at the close of the 20th century. During the six years it took to complete, the project developed in scope to encompass both the gifting of the original paintings to the archives at the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin and the publication of this book.
