Healy looks at the Irish question through different periods in six chapters from Elizabeth 1 to Home Rule. Erskin Childers’ pamphlet is the contents of a lecture delivered at a public meeting convened by the Young Ireland Branch of the United League at the Mansion House, Dublin on March 2nd, 1912. The Earl of Dunraven’s pamphlet is a reprint (Cheap Edition) of the first edition published in January 1911.
