John J. Williams, a Jesuit priest, describes the little known fact that black Irish and Scots were deported and enslaved in Jamaica. The book contains photographs of some of these black indigenous Europeans that have been forgotten by most historians.

The documentation of the enslavement of black West Africans is well known, however, little is known about these black Europeans that were deported and enslaved in Jamaica.
