Richard Rolt Brash was an architect and archaeologist, born in Cork. He had a particular interest in Ogham inscriptions, on which he contributed ten papers to the Royal Irish Academy.
His manuscripts on Ogham monuments were edited after his death by George M. Atkinson and published in volume form as ‘The Ogham Inscribed Monuments of the Gaedhil in the British Isles,’ in 1879.
