The author was Missionary Agent to the Irish Presbyterian Church at Killorgan, Co. Kerry. He raised large sums of money in America for the famine victims.
Dill regarded the root cause of Ireland’s social problems as ‘Popery’ and he traces its influence through every aspect of society. To him the solution was the evangelisation of the Catholics by the Protestant Churches and he details his thesis in this work.
