The second volume in the series. The first volume entitled ‘Inis-Owen and Tirconnell. Notes, Antiquarian and Topographical’ was published in 1891 in a limited edition of 100 copies, and hence is rare in commerce. An engineering contractor by profession, William Doherty was born in Buncrana in 1834.
