First Printing of the deluxe collectors’ edition of the first book in the ‘Harry Potter’ series.

The deluxe editions started to appear in 1999 and were completed with the finial volume in the series ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ in 2007.

The Bloomsbury Archives record that 4869 copies of the first issue deluxe Philosopher’s Stone were printed. A relatively small run when compared to the 46,500 copies of the deluxe ‘Deathly Hallows’ in 2007.
