A handsomely bound set Jane Austen’s works, illustrated with 200 line drawings by leading illustrators Hugh Thompson & Charles E. Brock.

The first five volumes were published in 1901, the last volume containing Northanger Abbey and Persuasion, was published in 1902.

Hugh Thompson was an Irish Illustrator born at Coleraine near Derry. He illustrated several of Austen’s work in the late 19th century. Charles E. Brock was one of four artist brothers one of which was another famous book illustrator Henry Matthew Brock. A very respected & successful book illustrator he illustrated the works of authors such as Jonathan Swift, William Thackeray, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and George Eliot.
