Founded in 1753, holds a significant place in Dublin’s medical history. Originally established to serve the sick and poor in the crowded Liberties area, it later moved to larger premises on Heytesbury Street in 1822.

Notably, physicians Robert Graves and William Stokes conducted groundbreaking research and introduced innovative teaching methods at the Meath Hospital during the nineteenth century.
