A beautifully produced book containing forty plates in colour with titled tissue-guards and numerous black and white illustrations and designs by Arthur Rackham.

Stories include: Briar Roase; The Goosegirl; Rapunzel, Red Riding Hood & Tom Thumb. Grimm’s Fairy Tales was the first book illustrated by London-born artist Arthur Rackham in 1900.

A revised and enlarged edition was published by Constable & Co., in 1909, with this Heinemann edition appearing in 1925.
