The memoirs of Bulmer Hobson, written in his 83rd year. Described as “The most dangerous man in Ireland” by Major Ivan Price (head of police Dublin Castle).

Hobson opposed the 1916 Rising. He believed that the success of the separatist movement could only be achieved through a guerrilla war and a paralysis of all the machinery of British government of Ireland.
