London: W. Bulmer & Co., 1802. First edition. Pp vii, 88. Folded frontispiece plate ‘Chart of Nymph Bank or Fishing Ground and the Adjacent Coast of Ireland from Actual Observations.’ Bound in later quarter calf marbled boards, spine worn at tail & boards faded. Light soiling to folded plate, contents in good condition. Ex library copy (withdrawn) with 3 ink stamps. The work consists of 4 parts. The section on minerals treats of Iron, Gold, Silver, Copper, Lead and Cobalt, followed sections on Agriculture, Manufactures and Fisheries. Robert Fraser (1760-1831) was born in Perthshire. He was involved in efforts to improve Scottish fisheries and mines and was also associated with the construction of the harbour at Kingstown (Dunleary) in Co Dublin. He also published ‘General View of the County Wicklow’ (1801) and ‘Statistical Survey of the County of Wexford,’ (1807).
